Terms and Conditions
1. General
The General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: “terms”) define the rights and obligations between Bitnet d.o.o., Dunajska cesta 106, 1000 Ljubljana (hereinafter: “provider”), and clients of services or buyers of products (hereinafter: “client”).
These terms apply to all services, products, offers, contracts, and other forms of cooperation, unless the contractual parties agree otherwise in writing.
By using the services or placing an order, the client is deemed to agree to these terms.
2. Services
Bitnet d.o.o. provides a wide range of IT services, including:
- Maintenance and management of IT systems,
- Planning and deployment of computer networks,
- Implementation of security and Fortinet solutions,
- Implementation of server and cloud systems,
- Development of web and business applications,
- Sale of computer and network equipment.
The detailed scope and conditions of each service are specified in the offer, contract, or confirmed order.
3. Offers and prices
All offers issued by Bitnet d.o.o. are informative and non-binding unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Prices are expressed in euros (EUR) and generally do not include VAT, unless otherwise stated.
The company reserves the right to change prices without prior notice, except for already confirmed orders.
4. Orders and execution
An order becomes binding when the client confirms it in writing (via email, signed offer, or order form).
The execution deadline is agreed with the client, with the provider committing to perform the service professionally, with quality, and within the agreed timeframe.
The client must provide all necessary information, access to systems, and conditions for service execution.
5. Payment terms
The payment term is stated on the invoice, usually 8 or 15 days from the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed.
In case of late payment, the provider has the right to charge statutory late interest and, if necessary, temporarily suspend services until obligations are settled.
6. Warranty and liability
The provider guarantees professional and quality service execution.
Hardware and software are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
Bitnet d.o.o. is not liable for data loss, service interruptions, or other damages resulting from improper use, third-party interventions, or force majeure (e.g., power outages, equipment failures, cyberattacks, etc.).
The provider’s liability is limited to actual damage caused and up to the value of the services performed.
7. Data Protection
The provider processes all personal and business data of clients in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and Bitnet d.o.o.’s Privacy Policy.
Data is used exclusively for service execution, communication, and legally required record-keeping.
8. Intellectual property
All content, materials, plans, documentation, and software solutions prepared by Bitnet d.o.o. are copyrighted and owned by the company, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The client may not share them with third parties or use them contrary to their intended purpose without the provider’s consent.
9. Complaints and dispute resolution
Any complaints or claims should be submitted in writing to ziga@bitnet.si.
The provider undertakes to respond within 8 business days and strive for an amicable solution.
If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, the competent court is the District Court in Ljubljana.
10. Changes to the general terms
Bitnet d.o.o. reserves the right to amend or supplement these terms without prior notice.
Updated terms will be published on the company’s website and are effective from the date of publication.
